Guardian Mobile App
The EMS Guardian mobile app is a native Android and iOS app for parents. It offers the same features as the PWA with added benefits like push notifications and offline viewing of previously loaded data.
Downloading the App
- Android: Search "EMS Guardian" on the Google Play Store and tap Install.
- iOS: Search "EMS Guardian" on the Apple App Store and tap Get.
Setting Up the App
- Open the app after installation.
- On the welcome screen, enter your School Code (provided by your school — found in the school's communication to parents).
- Enter your Email and Password.
- Tap Sign In.
First time logging in?
Use the temporary password sent to your email by the school. You will be prompted to set a new password on first login.
Push Notifications
The mobile app supports push notifications for:
- New messages from the school
- Fee payment reminders
- Attendance alerts (if your child is marked absent)
- New report card available
Go to your phone's Settings → Notifications → EMS Guardian to manage notification preferences.
Offline Access
Data loaded while connected is available offline for viewing. Payments and messages require an internet connection.
Troubleshooting the App

| Cannot log in | Check your email and password; use Forgot Password on the login screen |

| App shows outdated data | Pull down on the screen to refresh |
| School not found with school code | Contact your school admin to confirm the correct code |
