Staff Management

School Admin

The Staff module manages all staff user accounts — creating accounts, assigning roles, and managing teacher profiles used in timetabling.

Viewing Staff

Go to Administration → Staff to see all staff accounts.

Adding a Staff Member

  1. Click Add Staff Member.
  2. Fill in:

  1. Click Save — the staff member receives a welcome email with a temporary password.

Editing a Staff Member

Click a staff member's name to open their profile, then click Edit.

Deactivating an Account

To remove access without deleting the record:

  1. Open the staff profile.
  2. Click Deactivate.

Deactivated users cannot log in but their historical records (attendance marked, assessments entered) are preserved.

Teacher Profiles

Teacher profiles extend staff accounts with timetabling information:

  • Maximum periods per day/week — used by the timetable builder to prevent overloading
  • Available days — for part-time teachers
  • Subjects taught

Manage teacher profiles from Academic → Timetables → Teacher Profiles or from the staff member's profile page.
